The Gildan Softstyle Adult Double Pique Polo is a double pique. What exactly is a ﾑdouble pique’? Pique fabrics are woven in such a way that they display a textured surface. This is a very subtle texture that can only be seen up close. A double pique is a pique fabric that uses two types of threads. The cotton used is quite special. Known as Ringspun cotton, this kind of cotton yarn is softer than regular cotton. This is a Euro-fit shirt with a sleeker fit in the shoulders and sleeves. Twin needle stitching is used in the bottom hem. This means three threads have been used per stitch to counter fraying.
